I, Jumoke Oluwafisayo, Adebayo, a native of Ero town of Ifedore Akure Local Government Area of Ondo State, born in the family of Deacon and Deaconess Oloko, on the 30th October 1987. Married to Mr. Olusegun Benjamin Adebayo, a native of Epinmi Akoko, Ondo State. A Graduate of Ekiti State University (EKSU) Ekiti State with B.Sc. in Chemistry Laboratory Technology (SLT) Option, as an undergraduate student of Chemistry in Science and Laboratory Technology in the aforementioned school. However, I sat for my Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) and passed in the year 2005, while I finished my Primary School and earned my Certificate in the year 1999.
Furthermore, I am currently a Research Officer I in the Nigeria Natural Medicine Development Agency (NNMDA) under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation at the South West Zonal Office, First Floor Federal Secretariat Igbatoro Road, Alagbaka, Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria.
In pursuance of the mandate of the agency, the focus was to ensure the integration of Nigerian Traditional Medicine and complement alternative medicine into our national healthcare delivery system through identification and preservation, research and development of our indigenous medicinal plants. This is being achieved through personal research and interaction with traditional medicine practitioners on hidden traditional medicine knowledge formularies, for the purpose of identifying medicinal plants and animals with bioactive ingredients for the management of curable and non-curable diseases plaguing our society.
