The Nigeria Natural Medicine Development Agency Library is a focal reference center for Traditional Medicine development and promotion –perhaps the first of its kind In Africa and serves as a research arm of the Agency with books, recordings photographs in its collections.

The library’s objective is to assist in the development of safe efficacious standardized products and practices and to sustain, preserve and develop our indigenous knowledge culture and heritage for future generations and promotion of e-commerce and create market for Medicinal Aromatic and Pesticidal (MAP) plants and other herbal drugs of Nigerian origin and also make available Library collections within the Library and over the internet

The library has both print and electronic information resources that are aimed at improving research activities. The personnel are seasoned information practitioners with experiences and have the zeal to provide necessary services that will facilitate research activities and information needs of staff.

The library has the information and communication technology unit, this unit is in charge of computerization of library operations, the unit is also responsible for managing all the ICT equipment in the Agency.
