The Director General/Chief executive of NNMDA, Prof. Martins Emeje, PhD, FAAS, led the CU delegation on a tour of NNMDA’s cutting-edge laboratories, research library, non-medication clinic, and production development unit, providing valuable insights into the Agency’s efforts to integrate traditional medicine with modern science. This partnership is set to enhance research capabilities, drive innovation, and support sustainable healthcare solutions.
The signing of the MoU marks a significant milestone in fostering collaboration between the academia and industry, demonstrating Nigeria’s readiness to lead in natural medicine research. This initiative aligns with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda for health and wellness, underscoring the importance of educational and research institutions in achieving sustainable development goals.
