I am Henry Ajaegbu C N and a chief Research officer with the Nigeria Natural Medicine Development Agency. I hold a bachelor degree in Zoology (Parasitology) from the University of Calabar, Calabar, Master’s degree (MSc) in Parasitology and Bioinformatics from the University of Lagos, Lagos, a Diploma certificate in Acupuncture and Moxibustion from the Shanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China and Deep Tissue Massage from Brandon Raynor’s School of Natural therapies, Singapore. I have participated in several medicinal plants surveys, traditional bone sitting, Nigeria indigenous healing systems and traditional birth attendant and also involved in several training in traditional/natural medicine.
I am highly goal oriented, competent, confident, self motivated, team player with organizational skills, in addition, strong interpersonal and with proven ability to operate/work in challenging environments.
I am focused and passionate in value addition to mankind and particularly in the documentation, scientific validation, development and promotion of Nigeria’s Traditional medicine and natural products. I am also instrumental to the collation, documentation of research in traditional medicine, indigenous healing systems, medicinal, aromatic and pesticidal plants of Nigeria.
