My name is Luke Ifreke Michael. I was born on April 28th, 1973 into Ikpe’s family of Ikot Asat Nsit in Nsit Ibom Local government area of Akwa Ibom State. Married to Mrs. Glory Akpan Evanson Inyang, a native of Inyang’s family in Etinan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
I am a Master’s degree graduate of Biochemistry from University of Lagos, 2010 and first degree B. Sc. Biochemistry for University of Uyo in 1992. I served the mandatory one year NYSC service at Emure – ile Owo Local government area, Ondo State. Obtained West African School Certificate in 1985 from the Apostolic Church Secondary School Ikot Oku Nsit and First School Leaving Certificate in 1981.
Furthermore, I, Luke Ifreke Michael is Chief Research Officer (CRO) in Nigeria Natural Development Agency, an Agency saddled with the responsibilities and mandate to promote Nigerian natural medicine. Head of Communicable and non- communicable disease unit. One of the core unit in Product Development and Quality Assurance Department. During his leadership, the department through the unit has developed Anti – malaria herb- herb Therapy based on purely Nigeria medicinal plants called Amarus. Other research area includes glaucoma, hypertension, infertility, diabetes. PhD programme in view.
As a research officer, I have 6 (six) scientific publications and attended several seminars and few presentations.
My hobbies apart from research work include singing, football, etc. I am a servant of God.
